“Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that last forever, They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.”-Psalm 37:18-19
More than enough.
Life is and has been extremely challenging. I know I am not the only one who may be doubting that God will actually provide from time to time. It may be that when we try to do the math with what our limited human eyes can see, things just don’t add up. It seems completely impossible.
However as I read this scripture, many stories came to mind surrounded by this theme “More than Enough”. Jesus showed his miraculous ways as he fed the 5000 in Matthew 14. What may have seemed impossible turned out to be more than enough. Or maybe when he responded to Paul in 2 Corinthians “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness” after Paul prayed for healing.Additionally in Exodus 36 while Moses constructed the sanctuary as the Lord commanded they had more than enough to carry out the task.

The sufficiency of Christ isn’t seen when we are only looking at what we are capable of seeing. This usually indicates that we are lacking faith. The most crucial factors of being a Christian. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). When we look at our lives, we are overwhelmed with all our needs, but Jesus is our source and we must BELIEVE.
God is constantly at work even if we don’t see anything at all. I pray that we realize that the God who performed miracles written about in the bible is the same God who is able today.
May we trust Him today.
Keep fighting daily.
Love y’all!
